    Traditional water sports offer a deep connection with nature, relying on the wind, waves, and your own body to navigate the water. Efoils, with their electric motors and remote controls, create a barrier between the rider and the natural environment. This tech-driven experience lacks the authenticity and rawness of traditional sports, making it a superficial alternative. Perfect for lazy, unskilled office workers.

    You inproved well, but knive stitches you got in the shoulder, throat, head could have been deadly, also some serious hits with the stick. So avoid a fight at all costs, let them rob you, or try to talk you out and deescalate, or just run if possible - this should have been also the last words, at the end of your video.

    this is something I see every crossfitter do and i don't know why. even you did it at the end, but different in the beginning of the video. on the pull-ups, that's all momentum and swinging, why?????? how are you supposed to build your muscle and nervous systems if you don't do it properly or with poor form??? anyone care to elaborate?

    I did 100 curls every day, but it was with small enough weight that recovery wouldn’t be an issue. It had better response on my body as a whole, than just my biceps. Doing light weight that made me sweat for at least 30 minutes, after a week started behaving more like intermittent fasting, where my body got in a groove and my fat distribution started getting alarmingly aesthetic

      @LaurieShaw 13 днів тому

      Thanks so much!! Yeah they are frustrating haha, but we had to get it done and after a couple days rest they would often heal up just enough to climb on them again before ripping 😂 my hands just needed to get used to the volume of climbing I think.

    Guys like you practicing among normal surfers on a normal surf spot scare the hell out of me, you are the reason why I'm considering wearing a helmet - I mean you are quite skillful and a well-experienced surfer but still, you can't control that foil properly and put all the other surfers into danger, that foil can do severe injuries to other people. A friend of mine got nearly killed by an inexperienced foil surfer at a crowded spot., plastic surgery on his face. Why the hell can't you practice foiling on an uncrowded beach?!!

    • @LaurieShaw

    Nice video. Although I’m not sure you are being taught best practise to retrieve your gear. Ideally use locking carabiners when you are attaching yourself to the anchor not just 1 QuickDraw with snap gates. Again same for attaching the rope so you don’t drop it as this should be a back up to the anchor blowing. Also, you should check you are weighting the rope and your safety anchor is “floppy” before removing (maybe you was told off camera). I dont usually comment like this but this is not how you should teach a new climber today…maybe 20 years ago. Keep up the vids❤

    • @ruhakana
      @ruhakana 13 днів тому

      If the anchor bolts are too small to fit a bite of rope through then you would have to untie and retie so you can thread the rope.

    • @jdsc100
      @jdsc100 13 днів тому

      @@ruhakana that’s not the issue. The issue is using 1 QuickDraw to secure yourself and then a QuickDraw to hold the rope. Either use 2 draws on your loop opposing gates or get a lanyard of some sort and use a locker.

    • @LaurieShaw
      @LaurieShaw 13 днів тому

      Ah thanks mate! We did use 2 QuickDraws in the the anchor, maybe that’s not viable on camera. But appreciate the feedback 🙏

    It was hard for me mentally to go from the Krav Maga mindset to a different kind of martial art. After 25 years of that kind of training, our teacher teaches special forces H2HCTC, I started learning Capoeira. It has somewhat similar kicks but everything else was exactly the opposite. Upside down more often than not, no touching, no blocking, no rolling, a very chaotic atmosphere, they “play” rather than fight, the timing is musical rather than practical. But man does it get you in shape.
